NHS Recognition Awards 2015 - Shortlist Announced

The shortlist was today announced for the East Midlands heat of the 2015 NHS Recognition awards.

Selected from almost 100 nominations, shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an awards ceremony to be held at Scalford Hall Hotel in Melton Mowbray on the evening of 3rd December, 2015.

Winners of each of the nine categories will then automatically go through as national finalists and will be invited to attend an event in London in early 2016 along with peers from across the country.

Director of the East Midlands Leadership Academy, Paul O’Neill said: “Once again it’s been a pleasure to read the nominations that were put forward as part of the process this year and the work that’s going on in our region is nothing short of remarkable. Thank you to everyone who made a nomination and congratulations to everyone on our final shortlist for making it this far. I very much look forward to meeting you all at the ceremony in December.”

Chair of the academy Gavin Boyle said: “It’s more important than ever to recognise the fantastic leaders that make up our region’s health community and the effort and determination that goes into providing the best possible service for our patients. Congratulations to everyone who was nominated.”

The process, which has been replicated across nine other regions includes the following categories:
